Serving Scottish and world cuisine beautifully prepared by our team of chefs for your delectation is our pleasure. With views onto traditional working croft land, you will see cattle and sheep, with the possibility of glimpsing our local heron or pair of Sea Eagles.

This lovingly restored historical setting, a mix of vintage and contemporary is perfect to indulge in high quality locally sourced food and drinks after your long drive – or a day exploring Skye’s exceptional scenery.

Your keen eye may perceive key Jacobite (supporters of Bonnie Prince Charlie) symbols throughout the house, such as butterflies, sunflowers and oak leaves. Will you be seated on the tartan of the MacDonalds of Sleat, the heroic Lady Flora’s tartan MacDonald of Clanranald, or in the seat of the Redcoat interrogator?

Sit and unwind by the open fire in our Whisky Room.

Enjoy our extensive range of Isle of Skye whisky, gins and beers hidden behind the secret bar. Or why not a cup of coffee? Settle into one of our armchairs and let your imagination run wild, you are having a drink where Lady Flora McDonald entertained English Redcoat Soldiers with a dram or two, providing cover while Bonnie Prince Charlie slipped by disguised as a woman in the night.

We extend a warm welcome to dogs in the Whisky Room, Please request for our Tasting to be served in the bar if you would like to bring your pooch.
