Monkstadt Steading is made up of six spacious, individual cottages. Located on the famous Trotternish Peninsula, this is one of the most beautiful spots on the Isle of Skye. Monkstadt Steading is situated at the end of a quiet Skye road with panoramic sea views out towards the west of the island and the Outer Hebrides.
This building was used as steadings by Monkstadt 1745- Luxury Lodge which has a rich history was once the seat of the Clan MacDonald and has strong links to Bonnie Prince Charlie.

Flora’s Secret was redeveloped using the original stonework and still features a raised circular horse walk which provided the power for the granary mill. At one time the mill provided all the grain for the whole population of the island.
Flora’s Secret is a traditional stone-built cottage restored to an exceptionally high standard.
